D-DAY is Monday! That is the day that Colchester United boss Paul Lambert will reveal his plans for next season.
The players will be told who is leaving, and who is staying, and there are bound to be a lot of glum faces. But Lambert needs to engineer a big shake-up to bring success to the Community Stadium.
“The table doesn't lie, and the squad has not been good enough this season, just as it wasn't the previous season either,” said Lambert.
“I don't criticise people individually, because I know how hard the game is, but as a team we have not performed.
“I will have a chat with the players on Monday, and tell them my plans.”
