Westbourne Sport College played the host as the Suffolk H5 Netball County finals were held last week.
Ten teams from the county competed in two leagues of five, before the semi-finals and final took place.
The standard of play at the tournament was up on previous years and any one of the four teams in the semi-finals could have gone on to win.
Mellis School eventually took the crown.
The young leaders were provided from Northgate, Kesgrave, St Albans, Claydon and East Bergholt High Schools and were selected after the recent Ipswich and South Suffolk level 2 events.
There, a netball leadership academy event was run prior to the day.
These young leaders were selected as they were the best young umpires and they really helped make the event special.
