HADLEIGH Rugby Club will once again be hosting the Suffolk Sevens tournament at Layham Road on August 19.

The tournament will begin games at 1pm and there will be a barbecue, refreshments and a bar as well as a feast of entertaining rugby seven-a-side games between Suffolk's leading clubs.

Bury St Edmunds, the holders, will have their work cut out this year with Ipswich, now coached by ex-Hadleigh RFC coach Aaron Brown, out to repeat their victory over Bury in last season's Suffolk Cup Final.

Hadleigh too will be looking to upset a few teams as they are rebuilding the team following their upheaval of last season, and now looking to renew their association with Wattisham Army camp.
