HAUGHLEY United are inviting applications for a new first team manager.
Chris Riggey, who led the team back to the Senior Division of the Kingsley Healthcare SIL, has resigned with club secretary Lee Forsdike saying the club want someone to take the club forward.
“We realise that it will be very difficult to survive in senior football this season, but while there’s hope we’ll battle away,” he said.
Haughley are bottom of the table without a league win having worked a near miracle to climb out of junior football last season after almost being forced to disband the club three years ago.
Applications will be treated in confidence and addressed to chairman Chris Faiers on 07935 917623 (chris.faiers@btinternet.com) or secretary Lee Forsdike on 07711 176262 (lrforsdike@yahoo.co.uk).
