LEISTON have been rocked by an injury to captain David Head.
The ever present Leiston defender caught his studs in the surface in the 68th minute during Saturday's surprising 3-1 defeat at home to CRC.
Clearly in pain, he was stretchered from the pitch and left the ground in an ambulance where he was then taken to Ipswich Hospital.
It appears he has a damaged ankle and ligaments and is unlikely to play again this season.
