Ipswich Witches 55 Rye House Rockets 35
Ipswich ‘Sackers’ Witches had to work hard to secure all three Premier League points against a battling Rye House Rockets side at Foxhall Heath.
The injury-hit Rockets were their usual battling selves and the Witches were grateful to teenager Cameron Heeps, who was in exciting form, twice passing Rocket riders on the last bend to secure points for his side.
The result was rather flattering in the end for the Witches as they finished very strongly.
The fact this result came with a few thrills t’boot meant the shirt-sleeved crowd went home more than happy.
