LEISTON have been drawn at home to fellow Ryman League Premier Division side Metropolitan Police in the second round qualifying draw of the FA Trophy made today.

Leiston booked their place in the draw thanks to Saturday’s 2-1 win at home to Hendon.

Fellow Suffolk side Bury Town will also be at home - if they win tomorrow night’s replay away to Whitehawk, after drawing 0-0 at Ram Meadow on Saturday - against either Grays Athletic of Ryman League Division One North or Ashford Town (Middx) who play in Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central.

Ties will be played on Saturday, October 27, with the winners of each of the 36 matches receiving �3,250 from the FA’s prize fund.

FA Trophy second round qualifying draw (selected ties only): Leiston v Metropolitan Police, Uxbridge or Royston v Canvey Island or Wroxham, Bury Town or Whitehawk v Grays Athletic or Ashford Town (Middx), Soham Town Rangers v Ramsgate and King’s Lynn v Carshalton Athletic.
