IAN Brown has turned down the manager’s job at Felixstowe & Walton United to be the new first-team coach of fellow Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Hadleigh United.
Brown, who was manager of Whitton United for the last three seasons before leaving the club last month, won the Suffolk Senior Cup two years running as well as finishing second in 2010/11 season and third last year in Division One of the Ridgeons League.
Hadleigh manager Stuart Crawford said: “I am very pleased Ian has decided to join us. He has done very well whilst with Whitton United and is respected in our area as an excellent coach. I felt that we needed another person involved in the management set-up and after a couple of meetings with Ian feel that we will work really well together.”
