THE INDIAN cricket team have suspended their tour of Australia while they appeal against the suspension handed out to bowler Harbhjan Singh for racial abuse.

THE INDIAN cricket team have suspended their tour of Australia while they appeal against the suspension handed out to bowler Harbhjan Singh for racial abuse.

Spin bowler Singh was banned for three Tests after he allegedly called Andrew Symonds - the only non-white player in the Australian team - a "monkey" during the Second Test in Sydney which Australia won by 122 runs.
