SUFFOLK Football Association's decision to resurrect the Ipswich Inter-Firm Cup last season proved a big success. The competition has been enlarged to 16 teams for 2009/10 with the first round draw having been made this week.
Ipswich Town have entered a side through their employees involved in their Community Trust scheme.
James Payne, football administration manager at Suffolk FA, said: “We are delighted with the added interest this year with fixture dates being decided soon.”
First round draw: Muntons v Churchill, Call Connection v ASDA, Barnes Group v Allport, Ipswich Borough Council v Northgate High School Staff, Suffolk Fire Service v Ipswich Postals, Ipswich Town FC Community Trust staff v J Breheny Contractors, BT Trimley v CSD, ISG Jackson v Ipswich Area Police.
