The eventual score line did not betray Ipswich's efforts against Sevenoaks on Saturday.

Despite the visiting team arrived without star player Sam Ornbo, Sevenoaks started well against stiff opposition from Ipswich.

Ipswich too were impressive, however it was Sevenoaks who opened the scoring with a meticulously well executed drag flick into the top left corner which left goalkeeper Ned Martin with little chance.

Ipswich maintained their pressure after the break yet failed to find the back of the net.

Sevenoaks scored another short corner, this time off the inside of the post, before Richard Rutterford pulled one back for Ipswich as they valiantly chased the game.

With the game turning in Ipswich's favour disaster then struck as Wrinch, felled off the ball by Sevenoaks, was shown a yellow for his response.

Sevenoaks duly went one further ahead through another drag flick and went on to win by a three goal margin, a result which did not reflect the equality of the two teams.
