The Ipswich & District Badminton League Under-15 Championships take place at Northgate Leisure Centre, Sidegate Lane West, this Sunday (January 8).
Admission is free at the tournament which will include a singles, doubles and mixed doubles competition. The action gets under way at 9am.
It has been running for over 20 years and it is hoped the tournament will reach the heights of last year’s event.
Then, Tim Scott was the star of the show, cleaning up in the singles, doubles and mixed tournaments before going on to do the same in the under-18s competition a week later.
This year’s under-18s tournament takes place at Northgate Leisure Centre, between 9am-6.30am, on Sunday, January 15.
