Ipswich II 2 Blueharts 4

Ipswich II went down to a Blueharts side that gave provided their toughest opposition of the season so far on Saturday.

Blueharts raced into a 2-0 lead as Ipswich were all at sea in the first 30 minutes of this game as the visitors' movement destroyed the home side.

However, Ipswich II have character in abundance, and they hauled themselves back into the game when Cook fired in a low cross and captain Reed won a flick. After a nervy flick from Miller last week, this one was put away with real confidence.

After addressing a few points at half time, Ipswich came out strongly and some good build up play saw Cook fire home into the bottom corner from a tight angle.

Ipswich were then handed a body blow when a move, which seemingly appeared to involve a foul in the build up, saw Blueharts go in front again.

A further one was added by Blueharts as the visitors were only kept out further by man-of-the-match Tony Burch, the in-form keeper pulling off some good saves.

Ipswich still lie mid-table and, with two games before Christmas, the II's will be looking to gain six points to move them towards the top.
