A hat-trick by Sarah Whatling and a good goal by Vicky Le Fanu sealed the win for Park on a dark and dreary Saturday.

But it was birthday girl Kerry Whatling who stole the show when she went on a solo run from defence and carried the ball down the pitch and entered the 'D' when she was overcome by a bit of goal fright and passed to her cousin Sarah Whatling to drill home and seal the victory for the visitors.

Park had started well and got two quick goals when a Sarah Whatling shot came off the keeper's pad and found its way to the side of the goal and shortly afterwards she added her second when a shot was saved on the line by the keeper's stick only to spin backwards and over the line.

The home side made Park work hard and they were pinned back in their own half for the latter part of the first half.

Park had to move players round due to an injury but this they coped with and were very dangerous on the break in the second half.

Some excellent work by Merc Buckles as sweeper saw her push well up the field and she made some good clearances from defence.

Ipswich stringed together some excellent passes but just couldn't break down the defence who stood strong. Ipswich battled hard but the point belonged to Park.
