Sarah Brasero-Carreira has left Ipswich Town Women after turning down an offer of a new contract ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

The 18-year-old joined the Blues from Sprowston in the summer of 2020 and went on to make her senior debut against Peterborough Northern Star at the age of just 16.

After a stint in the Blues' WSL Academy setup, she broke into Joe Sheehan's side during the 2021/22 campaign and has just enjoyed a solid final season with the Tractor Girls.

The midfielder scored and earned caps for England U19s during the 2022/23 season, and bagged a superb winner against Watford in February.

She made a total of 43 appearances for the Blues and scored seven goals during her time at Town.
