SLAGGING off your own fans isn’t always the greatest idea for a manager - especially one with a so-so record like Roy Keane - but I bet he gets away with it.
Already we’re seeing polarised reaction to his slating of some of Town’s supporters. Some are from the “remember we pay your wages, sunshine’’ school, while others are saying “spot on, Keano.’’
I’d put money on the end result being pretty much 50/50. Keane’s hotbed of support will come from the rock solid loyalists who go to every single game - home and away.
