IPSWICH Town boss Roy Keane will be hoping that his side can be party-poopers at promotion-happy Newcastle United on Saturday.

But the Irishman will again have to make do without several of his most experienced players.

Striker David Healy, winger Carlos Edwards and defender Damien Delaney all missed last weekend’s 1-1 home draw against Doncaster, and all three will again be sitting out the Tyneside trip.

Sunderland loanee Healy is nursing a knee injury, Edwards is recovering from chicken pox and Delaney is out for three months with an ankle injury.

Keane confirmed: “We won’t be risking David Healy. We wouldn’t if he was one of our players, let alone one of Sunderland’s.

“I haven’t seen Carlos all week, so those two are unlikely to be involved this weekend.

“It’s going to be tough, but we just want to put in a good performance and see where that takes us,” added Keane.
