Chirpy Canaries thrash Jewell’s men

Ipswich Town 1 Norwich City 5

NORWICH City doubled Ipswich with a comprehensive thrashing of a victory at Portman Road.

The Canaries were two-up at half-time, with goals from Andrew Surman and a Gareth McAuley og. And when Simeone Jackson got the Norfolk side’s third midweek through the second half, it appeared game over.

But a cracking Jimmy Bullard effort gave Ipswich hope with 10 minutes left, only for Russell Martin to make it 4-1 minutes later.

Pacheco sealed Town’s fate just before the end to make it a miserable night for Blues fans.
