Referee Fred Graham has proved to be a good omen for Ipswich Town over the years.
The Essex-based official will take charge of his 12th Town game this evening, when the Blues host Stevenage in the Capital One Cup, having never overseen an Ipswich defeat in his previous 11 outings.
Graham has been the man in the middle for nine Ipswich wins in total, the most notable of which came when the Blues beat West Ham 5-1 in January 2012, while he has also presided over two draws.
Graham has yet to officiate a game this season, but showed 46 yellow cards in 16 matches last season. During the 2014/15 campaign he was in charge of the Blues’ Boxing Day win at Brentford, as well as the 1-0 win over Bolton in March.
