ROY Keane has revealed that one or two of his players are carrying knocks, following last weekend’s 3-0 win in the snow over Leicester City.

However, the influential centre-half is unlikely to be back before Ipswich Town take on Chelsea in the FA Cup, and then Arsenal in the two-legged Carling Cup semi-final.

“It might be a big ask for Gareth to get back for the Cup games, after his sore Achilles,” explained Keane.

The ex-Lincoln and Leicester defender underwent an operation on his Achilles in November and has not played since the 2-0 home defeat to Derby on November 9.

He should be back later next month, which might mean he is in the squad for the second leg of the Carling Cup at the Emirates on January 26.
