After the recent announcement that Ipswich Town’s Ladies will now have their names on the back of the player’s shirts for the first time, the excitement and progression of the club has continued as Empire Cinemas have agreed a deal to become the club’s main sponsors, writes Ollie Allen.
The sponsor will appear on the kits for the First and Development teams, with the sponsor making its first appearance against Wymondham at Playford Road last Tuesday.
Ipswich Town Ladies manager Ralph Pruden said: ‘This is an incredibly exciting and important partnership for the club. We believe Empire Cinemas will be able to support our growth as East Anglia’s premier women’s club.
“The partnership represents an exciting time for the club and we are grateful to have the support of Empire Cinemas.’
Town’s Ladies first game of the season is away against AFC Wimbledon at Sutton United’s Gander Green Lane on August 20, with the new sponsorship deal hopefully inspiring more fans to support the Ladies as they embark on a big season for the club.
