IPSWICH Town key midfielder Owen Garvan missed training today because of a bout of flu - and is a doubt for Saturday's home Coca-Cola Championship game with Stoke City.
“With just two days to go, Owen must be a doubt to face Stoke,” said Town manager Jim Magilton.
“We will keep a close eye on the situation, and we are hopeful Owen will play.”
Nine-goal Jonathan Walters, who missed the 1-0 FA Cup defeat against Portsmouth last weekend because of flu, is now back in full training.
And skipper Jason De Vos has recovered from the bruised rib injury that saw him sit out the Pompey game, and he was also back training today.
