IPSWICH Town have been going well under new boss Paul Jewell, with 14 points gained from the first eight league matches.

But although they hammered Doncaster Rovers 6-0 away recently, and pushed league leaders QPR so hard before losing 2-0 at Loftus Road in midweek, Jewell is “not satisfied.” He wants more from his team.

“We played a lot of good football for large parts of the game at QPR, when we were the better team I felt,” explained Jewell during today’s press conference, ahead of Saturday’s home match against Portsmouth.

“But we’ve got to turn that domination and that possession into chances and goals.

“I’m happy with lots of aspects, but even more so I am aware we have to improve on lots of aspects as well.

“Even if we win a game 6-0, like we did the other week, we’re always asking for better.

“We can always be pleased, but we are never satisfied,” added Jewell.
