IPSWICH Town battled back from a goal down to take the lead at Southampton, but could not hold on to the upper hand and had to settle for a 2-2 draw last night.
IPSWICH Town battled back from a goal down to take the lead at Southampton, but could not hold on to the upper hand and had to settle for a 2-2 draw last night.
Andrew Surman had put the Saints in the lead, but goals from Owen Garvan and Alan Quinn put Town in the driving seat.
But a strike from Tomas Pekhart denied the Blues all three points, as they found ex-Town stopper Kelvin Davis in superb form.
