Moore, a January signing from non-league Forest Green, has yet to make an impact for the Blues’ first-team, while academy product Emmanuel was in and out of Mick McCarthy’s side and is likely to be behind new signing Jordan Spence, in the Portman Road pecking order.

We understand, Rotherham were offered £2m plus Emmanuel and Moore by Town when the Blues attempted to sign striker Danny Ward, only for the former Huddersfield man to join Cardiff City last week.

Moore scored seven goals in 17 starts and 16 substitute appearances for Forest Green in the National League. Last November he re-joined divisional rivals Torquay on a 28-day loan deal and scored five goals in four appearances.

As for Emmanuel, he has spent time on-loan at Crawley, having joined Town’s academy, following his exit from West Ham.
