With Manchester City winger Bersant Celina and Glasgow Rangers striker Joe Garner on the verge of signing for Ipswich Town, and the League Cup draw being made, it promises to be a busy day at Portman Road.
Winger Celina spent time on loan at Dutch side FC Twente last season, scoring five goals in 30 games, while Garner played at Ibrox, having left Town’s Championship rivals, Preston North End.
As for the League Cup – now known as the Carabao Cup – Town have failed to pass the third round stage since 2010-11 and have suffered some embarrassing defeats in recent seasons to the likes of Carlisle, Crawley and Stevenage.
Sports writer Chris Brammer and chief football writer, Stuart Watson, will be on hand on Facebook Live, from 2pm, to review the draw, discuss the imminent arrivals at the club and to look ahead to the release of the Championship’s fixtures on Wednesday.
You can also join in the debate by logging on at 2pm, asking the questions you want answered.
