Ipswich Town will be shown live twice on Sky Sports in the first few weeks of the new football season.

The Blues’ derby day clash with newly-relegated Norwich City has been moved to Sunday, August 21, and will kick off at 12 noon in front of the Sky cameras.

And the battle with Reading has been moved forward to Friday, September 9 for TV coverage. The game will kick off at 8pm.

Town fans will be hoping for a better showing than last season’s live on TV Friday night effort at Reading, when the then high-flying Blues were thrashed 5-1 by the Royals.
