Ipswich Town have revealed three changes to their fixtures next season - including pushing back both East Anglian derby games with Norwich City by 24 hours.

The Blues’ home clash with the Canaries will now take place on the 22nd of October with the return fixture at Carrow Road changed to the 18th of February. Both games will kick-off at 12pm, on the advice of the police.

Also, the away fixture at Craven Cottage has been moved from the original date of New Year’s Day to the following evening, Tuesday, 2nd January (kick-off 7.45pm) at the request of Fulham.

Town have proposed no further changes to the calendar for the season ahead. Club secretary Stuart Hayton said: “There were discussions to move the Derby game at Portman Road back a day to Friday the 29th of December in order to give the players an extra day of rest. However, we decided it would be of greater benefit to our supporters to keep the game on Saturday the 30th.”
