Christophe Berra has been named in the Scotland squad for his country’s upcoming games against Qatar and Republic of Ireland.
The game against the 2022 World Cup hosts takes place at Hibernian’s Easter Road on June 5, before Gordon Strachan’s men travel to Dublin to face Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on June 13 in a Euro 2016 qualifier.
The defender will be suspended for the start of next season, having been sent-off in Saturday’s Play-Off second-leg defeat to Norwich, but could come up against Ipswich Town team-mates Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick in the Ireland tie.
