Ipswich Town have completed the signing of teenage winger Jack Doherty from Waterford United, on a two-year deal.
The 18-year-old has joined the Blues following a successful trial with the club this pre-season.
A former trainee with the club, Doherty will watch tonight’s friendly at Colchester from the stands.
Doherty’s new team-mate Daryl Murphy, is another former Waterford player.
