A trio of strikers with Ipswich Town connections sit atop of the League One scoring charts, with Blues loanee Kieffer Moore grabbing his 13th goal of the season for Rotherham on Saturday.

Moore, who Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is seriously considering recalling in January, found the net six minutes into added time as the Millers’ rescued a late draw in their lunchtime clash with Doncaster.

Josh Emmanuel also started for Rotherham playing the first 74 minutes at right back before being replaced by striker Jonson Clarke-Harris as the visitors searched for a leveller.

Moore is two clear of former Ipswich striker Brett Pitman in the League One scoring race while Jack Marriott, now at Peterborough having left Ipswich in 2015 after coming through the club’s youth system, is a goal further back on 10.

Pitman, who left Portman Road in the summer after two seasons, added two more goals to his tally in Portsmouth’s 3-2 win over Blackpool.
