The same fixture has come out of the hat again, with the match likely to be played on Tuesday, August 9, two days after Town’s Championship opener against Barnsley at Portman Road.
Town made the third round of the competition last season, beating Doncaster in extra-time in the second round before losing 3-0 at Manchester United.
Stevenage finished 18th in the fourth tier last season.
