Ipswich Town are one of three Championship clubs interested in Wigan Athletic striker Omar Bogle, according to Sky Sports.

QPR and Barnsley are also said to be eyeing a move for the 24-year-old, who has been reportedly been put on the transfer list by boss Paul Cook.

Bogle scored 19 goals in League Two for Grimsby Town during the first half of last season before completing a £750k switch to the DW Stadium on January transfer deadline day.

He netted three times for the Latics – two of them against Norwich City – as they were relegated from the Championship and The Greater Manchester club will be looking to recoup the fee they paid six months ago.

Blues boss Mick McCarthy is keen to add a fourth striker to his squad and, speaking yesterday, said the deal was more likely to be a loan move.
