Ipswich Town duo Josh Emmanuel and Kieffer Moore remain season-long loan targets for League One side Rotherham.

The duo have been linked with loan moves to the South Yorkshire club all summer and were reportedly offered on loan to the Millers as part of the deal Ipswich tried to construct to bring Danny Ward to the club.

Ward eventually moved to Cardiff but the Millers are still interested in the pair, according to Rotherham boss Paul Warne.

He said: “There are still possibilities there,” the boss said. “There are possibilities with a few players and they are certainly two of them.”

Moore has yet to score in 11 substitute appearances for Town since signing from Forest Green in January, while Emmanuel progressed through the ranks at Portman Road and has so far made 24 appearances.

Last week, Blues manager Mick McCarthy said he would have to let certain members of his squad leave in order to add new players for the forthcoming season.Meanwhile, former Rotherham loanee Tom Adeyemi, who signed for Town last week, praised Warne and the Millers, having scored seven times in 28 games for the relegated Championship club last season.“Rotherham were the only League One club I would have signed for,” he said. “I had a brilliant time with them. I just felt I owed it to myself to play at the highest level I could,” said Adeyemi.“Warney is a fantastic man to work for, the lads are great and I really appreciate how welcome the fans made me.“They’re a special club. I was gutted we weren’t able to stay up last year and I wish them all the best for the coming season.”
