PAUL Jewell has revealed that he has several injury concerns, ahead of tomorrow night’s home game against Reading, when speaking at this lunchtime’s Portman Road press conference.
The midfield duo of Mark Kennedy and Colin Healy are definite non-starters for the visit of the in-form Royals, and Jewell has other slight worries as well.
“We have one or two other doubts for tomorrow, so we might have to make changes,” revealed Jewell this lunchtime.
“Mark Kennedy is not available, and nor is Colin Healy. But one or two others also face late fitness tests,” added Jewell.
Teenage star Connor Wickham took a knock during Saturday’s terrific 2-0 win at Cardiff, but Jewell confirmed that the 17-year-old would be “OK for tomorrow.”
Reading are bang in form, fresh from an impressive 1-0 win at Everton in the FA Cup and a 5-2 victory over Middlesbrough over the weekend.
