PAUL Jewell will consider sending a few of his younger players out on loan, “to toughen them up.”
Speaking at this lunchtime’s Portman Road press conference, Jewell explained: “This is the sort of place where the younger players can get comfortable.
“We’ve got some good younger players here, and my feeling is that it’s sometimes best to send them out on loan to toughen them up a bit.
“To send them to a club where it’s not as nice or as posh as it is!
“I have had one or two enquiries for some of the younger players, and I want to have hungry young players,” confirmed Jewell.
