A BEAMING Blues boss Jim Magilton is determined to make the most of the 6-0 drubbing of Bristol City that put them back into the top six.

Magilton said: “You don't often get games like this so you have to enjoy them.

“We knew we would have to get into their faces and not let then get into a rhythm which is what we did.

“The two goals gave us a platform but we have been there before and lost it. We knew the third goal would be important and we got it. Then the sending off helped us and we went from there.”

Magilton praised hat-trick hero Jon Walters.

He said: “He deserved his goals. He is a pleasure to work with. He is honest and desperate to be a good player.

“We feel lucky to have him. He came back from pre-season leaner and fitter and is playing very well as a result.”

The only downside was an injury to Alan lee who limped off with an Achilles problem.

City boss Gary Johnson said: “We are miserable and disappointed now but that might not be the case when they come to our place in three weeks time.”
