SACKED Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton is set for a quick return to football at the helm of the Blues' Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers, it has been reported.
A national newspaper claims that Magilton, 40, who was dismissed over the phone by Town owner Marcus Evans last month, is poised to take the hotseat at Loftus Road.
QPR, co-owned by the flamboyant Flavio Briatore and F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, have struggled to find consistency in the manager's chair since the pair took over.
Luigi Di Canio lasted just seven months, Iain Dowie a mere 15 games and former European Cup winner Paulo Sousa departed after a six month stint.
Magilton has also been linked to the vacant manager's job at Blackpool today.
