JOHN Gorman has kept the door open for another signing before the transfer window closes on Monday evening.

With Luciano Civelli signed and sealed, Gorman admitted there maty be at least one more new face, with a couple going out.

He said: “It is possible that someone else will come in. We are not ruling anything out because if you get the chance of a good player then you take them.

“But what is exciting is that you look at the young players we have, like Connor Wickham, and it may be we already have within the club a player that can do that job anyway.”

Dan Harding has joined Reading on loan for the rest of the season, with Billy Clarke who scored a hat-trick on his debut for Northampton last week, and Jordan Rhodes netting for Brentford on his bow, among those being monitored from afar.

Gorman said: “We keep an eye on the boys out on loan.

“There are always teams who want players like Matt so there is always a possibility they will go out on loan again.”

Gorman also revealed that Portuguese winger Lino Goncalves would not be offered a contract and will return to the Glenn Hoddle Academy.

He said: “We have been pleased with him but it has been difficult for him and at the moment we will not be offering him anything.”
