ROY Keane revealed, at this lunchtime’s Portman Road press conference, that it was news to him about the Club perhaps being set to offer him a new contract.
“Thinking about doing something, and doing something, can be completely different,” said Keane.
“It’s up to the Club (with regards a new contract). I still have seven or eight months left on my current one, so it’s not much of a problem.
“I’m very relaxed. I’m very happy here, but in football you don’t know what is behind the next corner,” added Keane.
Chief Executive Simon Clegg had revealed, during the Supporters’ Club’s AGM last night: “There is no line in the sand over a date, but a decision will be made and we are relaxed about it.”
