PAUL Jewell has paved the way for Jaime Peters to extend his loan spell with Bournemouth.

The Ipswich Town boss this morning said he would have no problem with Peters remaining at Dean Court for another month or two after the Canadian international has impressed all at the League One club.

Jewell revealed he had been contacted by Cherries boss Lee Bradbury and an extension is expected to be tied up sooner rather than later.

Bradbury said: “He has worked really hard for the team. He is an explosive player. He needs to isolate himself a little bit more in one against one situations, but we are working on that with him.

“He does a really good shift for the team and is a team player, as well as an individual that can change a game.”
