PAUL Jewell intimated that Jason Scotland might be in line for a start at Doncaster Rovers tomorrow evening, when speaking at this lunchtime’s press conference.
Scotland clambered off the bench to sweep home his eighth goal of the season in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Barnsley. He replaced Tamas Priskin on 76 minutes and found the net just seven minutes later.
“Jason might well get his chance to start in the first team,” explained Jewell.
Scotland has been on the bench for the last seven games, and has not started a league game since the 1-1 draw at Coventry City on New Year’s Day.
