TOMMY Smith’s New Zeland have continued their 100% start to World Cup qualification after hammering the Solomon Islands 6-1.
The All Whites made light work of their latest group match in the Oceania stage of qualification for Brazil 2014.
But Smith, who captained the side in the latter stages of the match which finished at about 10.30am British time, will have little time to bask in the big win.
He will now start his round-the-world flight back to England where he is expected to resume training with Ipswich Town on Thursday morning, in preparation for Saturday’s match at Middlesbrough.
