ED Upson, who was released by Ipswich Town at the end of last season, has joined League One Yeovil Town on a two-year contract.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who had a spell on loan at Barnet late last season, made two senior appearances for Town, both as a substitute in the Carling Cup.
Upson will be best remembered at Portman Road for scoring the winning goal in the second leg of the 2005 FA Youth Cup final victory over Southampton, having come on as a substitute while still a schoolboy.
Upson, who won England Under-19 caps , will be reunited with former team-mate Dean Bowditch at Huish Park.
