IPSWICH Town are reportedly after MK Dons defender Danny Woodards after he rejected a new contract with the League One side.

Woodards is to set to leave the Dons on a free transfer in the wake of their play-off semi-final defeat to Peterborough last night.

The 27-year-old has played more than 70 times for MK Dons in the last two seasons, since moving from Crewe Alexandra, and can operate at either right-back or centre-back.

It is understood that Bristol City, Doncaster Rovers and newly-relegated Sheffield United are also keen on the defender.
