CHARLIE Austin is understood to be having a medical at Burnley today after agreeing a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Championship club.
The 21-year-old striker had talks at Ipswich Town yesterday after the Blues agreed a fee with Swindon Town.
A deal was not completed and Burnley have now matched Town’s �1.8 million offer.
Austin travelled to Turf Moor from Suffolk and the Clarets are now expected to complete the deal although Ipswich, Blackpool and Southampton are still watching proceedings with interest.
