FORMER Ipswich Town striker Jordan Rhodes was officially unveiled as a Blackburn Rovers player this morning after his 8m move from Huddersfield Town.
The Blues should receive in the region of 700-800,000 as part of the deal due to a sell-on clause after then-boss Roy Keane decided to let Rhodes go to the Terriers back in 2009.
Rovers manager Steve Kean said: “Jordan is a top class striker and we are absolutely delighted to bring him in.
“His record is there for all to see and I believe he can play a major role in our drive for promotion back to the Premier League.”
Rhodes added: “I’m delighted, it’s great to be here and to be part of a prestigious club, it is fantastic.”
