Ipswich Town claimed a cracking win at Derby County last night – and you can watch the highlights here.
The Blues won 1-0 at Pride Park, courtesy of Callum Connolly’s fifth minute goal and some fantastic team defending, plus the usual brilliance of Bartosz Bialkowski in goal.

The result is Town’s third straight 1-0 win at Pride Park, and continues the hoodoo they seem to hold over the Rams, with the Blues now unbeaten at Derby for 11 years.

It was a much needed result too – not only is it Town’s first win over a side in the top half of the Championship all season, it’s also a fine reaction to the weekend’s 2-0 setback at Aston Villa.

Town now host Nottingham Forest – another side in the top half – at Portman Road on Saturday, with a real chance to build some momentum ahead of the traditionally gruelling festive period.
