IPSWICH Town boss Paul Jewell has urged his team to bounce back from the “horrendous result” against Norwich, for Easter Monday’s long trip to Swansea City.

Jewell wants his players to learn from Thursday night’s 5-1 defeat, at the hands of the Canaries, starting at the Liberty Stadium against a Swansea side pushing for promotion.

“Obviously we are still feeling hugely disappointed, but we have to get over that disappointment,” explained Jewell.

“We have had a good end to the season, although of course the Norwich defeat gives us a huge jolt.

“But what we can do? We can only try and learn from it.

“Nothing is ever a waste of time. You learn things all the time about yourself, the players and as a team.

“It was an horrendous result for us and for the supporters, who I really feel for, but we have to try and bounce back,” added Jewell.

Winger Lee Martin will serve the second of a three-match suspension at Swansea, while left-back Mark Kennedy was set to resume training this morning after missing the last two matches with a sore hamstring.
