So, the season’s over for another year - probably a welcome thing for most Ipswich Town fans, given their poor campaign!
But, after the final promotion spot to the Premier League is decided at the Championship Play-off Final at Wembley on Bank Holiday Monday, May 29, thoughts will quickly turn to the new season.
The full list of fixtures for the 2017/18 campaign will be released at 9am on Wednesday, June 21 - and you can see them all first with us, of course, plus plenty of reaction, analysis and comment.
While Town will be planning to rebound and mount a serious challenge next season – with or without boss Mick McCarthy – Colchester United were right on the brink of the play-offs this season and will feel they have a strong chance of improving again next campaign.
After the excitement of fixture release day, July will bring the start of friendly match action, before the new EFL season gets underway again on Saturday, August 5th.
